I researched it and saw recommendations of cod liver oil, powdered milk and sardines. We headed to the store immediately.

I put about a cup of feed per bird of all of these blended together. It makes a full regular sized blender. They have left over feed that I throw out at night when I wash their bowls once they go in for the night.

If you are going to continue to try to make your own feed you have to be exact...about a cup isn't going to work.
So you put about a cup each of the
wheat, groats, flax seeds, barely, peas and chia seeds and you free choice how much oyster shell and kelp per day.
How much OS and kelp are they eating each day?
