Help!!! chicken wont go in at night

I have this one hen, she is my absolute favorite! she loves me so much! i hand feed her, and hold her no problem! Im on vacation and I in trusted my mom to take care of her! last night my hen wouldn't go into the coop even with feed! she was so scared of my mom that it got dark and my mom could not find her and she gave up! Well the hen made it through the night and she still is terrified of my mom! What can she do? how do we get it back?

Not sure I can help, but did your chickens know your mom before you left ? They are frightened of change, frightened of folks they don't know. Maybe your mom needs to lock her in coop til you get back home.
