So three of my younger hens are attacking one of my 2 yr olds. She is not sick, in fact she was sick for a long time and now she is healthy and beautiful again. She is the best she has ever looked! For some reason they gang up on her when they see her, and they act like they want to kill her (not just pecking order.) She will even submit to them, but they still want to kill her. The poor thing is so scared of them now she doesnt even want to come out of the chicken coop. Nothing has changed, and these chickens have known each other for a yr now so they arnt attacking her because she is a new chicken. Im not sure what to do or if there is anything i can do besides to find her a new home at this point, but i dont understand the sudden aggression. ( I raised the three since they were chicks) They also have plenty of room and then some. I have 14 chickens total and none of the others seem to be acting aggressive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking of doing that, but its three different chickens doing it ( Its like a gang beating) A different chicken of the three starts it each time. Should i lock the three up together? How long should i do this for?
