Help chickens getting killed at night

Woke up this morning and one of my chickens head was eaten and intestines were pulled out of abdomen can anyone tell me whats going on!!

Are they locked in a predator proof building from dusk to dawn?

Everything loves the taste of chicken. If you build it they will come.

They are locked in safe and sound all day they can go out side but there is fence with more fence on top, the only thing it could have possibliy been would be a weasle do you think thats possible

Weasels usually don't eat the bird but rather kill every bird in the building.
You'd be surprised how small a space raccoons and opossums can get into and the damage sounds like one of those.

I had a raccoon killing my chickens last week! Takes the heads. I caught a possum in my trap last night. It had killed 3 of my young chicks before getting stuck in my trap. Raccoon still on the loose
