I would. How many chickens do you have? Could she have a buddy to not be stressed or will she be fine by herselfOk, thank you. I'm guessing I should keep her inside until we know?
We have 16 chickens, I could probably keep Cupcake (my Brahma) who is my second suspect inside with her.I would. How many chickens do you have? Could she have a buddy to not be stressed or will she be fine by herself
If you can do a halfway location that would be better than inside the house where it's much warmer than outside. Do you have a garage or even a small dog kennel to keep her inside the coop? It's good to keep her off the extreme cold ground but you don't want to have the large temperature swing from inside to outside when she's ready to rejoin.Ok, I'm just worried that since it's still much below freezing, that the frostbite could get worse?
We do have a dog crate(actually reserved for the chickens) , a garage, and a basement. Which would be best?If you can do a halfway location that would be better than inside the house where it's much warmer than outside.
