Help! Chickens won’t go in cooop at night!

New group of 7-8 week old pullets. They’ve been in a coop and we just added a run.
My question is; how do we train them to go in the coop at night? We have to physically pick them up and put them in the coop!

It can take some time for them to work it out. It can be helpful to put them in a little early--before it starts getting dark.

x2. Common problems would be things like a steep ramp, coop being too dark or poorly ventilated, but it's difficult to assess without seeing your set up.
