I just added golf balls back to my nesting boxes because I found my first eaten egg today.
Coincidentally, it's the green egg that was eaten. I found the green egg on the ground yesterday. Today, it was in a box, but eaten.
Six month old birds. Eight RIRs and two Eggers. One of the Eggers lays a green egg.
They all usually lay by midmorning, so maybe I'll start collecting them at lunch.
