I just found this chick hatched a few minutes ago. It's insides are outside via vent. What should I do? Never had this happen in a newly hatched chick. It's a Silkie Egger.

This is pretty bad. The purple tissue indicates the loss of blood flow and will die off with how dark it is. This is beyond saving and I would cull unfortunately.

😭😭😭 Thanks all. I had a bad feeling on this. I'm giving her a little time with the momma who hatched her. She's so excited to be a momma. I discovered 2 eggs also under her, no idea how long they've been there. The momma took over from my Rouen duck who sat on the egg for 2 weeks

God has a way of helping when it comes to culling an injured, sick, or defective baby at times for me. I went to do what I needed to do, I told the hen sorry, she looked at me then the baby and stood atop of her stomping her feet with her wings covering what she was doing. Nature told her what to do. The little baby was buried in my poultry cemetery.
