Help confused

My hen finally passed today after being bloated for a week. She was improving but fell and started spitting up water after she died I wanted to know why. So I cut her open found gizzard to be huge, lots of fluid inside her cavity, cist on intestines and a golf ball size item floating in her. It was multiple lumps like several dime sized eggs together

Any ideas?

I would guess she was an internal layer, or maybe ovarian cancer.
