Does anybody have any experience using paper clay as an alternative to paper mache? I find myself having to do a lot of paper mache projects for parties thrown on a zero budget. I'll be honest, I'm old, I'm busy & I'm losing the patience needed to do it the traditional way. I've watched a handful of youtube videos & it seems its paper, drywall joint compound, glue & a handful of other things. I'm wondering if I could get away with using just the paper, glue & joint compound? Also can I mix it up by hand? My mixer is twice as old as I am & can barely make it thru powdered sugar... paper clay would kill it for sure. Any advice on this or other cheap, fast alternatives would be greatly appreciated.
