Hello,
My 1 year old B.O. Mama Pajama has been having quite a time of it. She hasn't laid since 3/27 and when she did it was 2 eggs on the poop board at night -- one hard and one soft. Her abdomen was swollen and I feared internal laying. She and her sister Nicky who was laying giant misshapen eggs that were getting bound have been getting "black boxed" since 4/15 to get them to stop laying and reset -- 8 hours only of daylight. This is working wonders for Nick. She laid one monster egg on Tuesday and needed my midwifery skills but then took a day off and on Thursday laid a much more reasonable sized and shaped egg by herself on Thursday and then no egg since. She's eating like a champion and has loads of energy.

Mama on the other hand seemed fine -- still not laying but no real change until Saturday when she didn't eat her breakfast (just some hulled sunflower seeds) and stood around all day staring at the fence. I watched her as I was gardening. My husband threw some freshly cut grass on their side of the yard and she looked at it and walked away (unlike her usual self). She didn't want worms or slugs (her favorite). Not even dried meal worms I didn't think to check her crop until I brought them in for the day to have dinner and go to bed. I felt her crop and it was full and squishy/liquid-filled. I didn't see her drink a ton of water earlier. I instantly thought sour crop -- although there was no foul smell on her breath. I gave her some yogurt and water w/ACV (which they always have access to) and massaged her several times. She pooped a big nasty yellowish poop.

In the morning her crop was smaller but still had something in it and it was squishy. I kept her in all day and gave her only yogurt and h2o with ACV, two doses of colloidal silver and lots of massages. I notice a lump in her crop that doesn't seem like food. She spent the day pooping liquid with bits of undigested greens in it. Today it is the same story except the kelly green bits seem more digested. Help! I don't know what I'm doing wrong!

I'm so worried,
Lisa
