Hi, first of all. I'm new here and new to hatching. We heard about a local farm that rents out incubators and gets you started with eggs, feed and bedding. We get to give the chicks back with the incubator if we can not keep them (we live in an apartment, so we planned to return them). So, we did this for our kids so that they could experience the miracle of life and hold little chicks and all that...

Well, it's day 22 and nothing is happening. I feel like I've done everything right. I kept the water tracks in the incubator filled, I candled the eggs and kept the temp at 100F. When candling, out of 12, about a handful of them have a nice dark shadow and a good air sack. I marked them so that I could watch those specifically. I was so nervous and excited yesterday, but the eggs are as still and quiet as the day we got them. What could I have possibly done wrong? Is there still a chance they will hatch?
