hey in about 8 hours my silkie eggs would have been in for 23 days I have hatched silkies before and they take 21 every time but that was in the summer due to a cold week my incubator was a bit low 36.9-37.5 yesterday I was worried about the eggs so I candled them 2 of the 3 had clearly died but one of them I saw some movement so today I just candled this egg and there’s no noise but I can see it breathing and a tiny shadow in the air cell but I’m afraid that it won’t hatch is there anything I can do to help it ?!

right now, just keep it in the incubator. It sounds like it's pipped internally, so give it 24 hours to pip externally, before you start to worry. :) low temps will slow them down a bit.

It’s also breathing very fast and looks stressed

Ok I’m out at the moment and should be able to make it in about an hour I have never made a safety hole any advice

candle the egg, and find where the air cell is the furthest down the shell, make sure you're above the line where you start, I've used a small (computer or glasses size) flathead screwdriver to scrape the shell, you could used a sewing needle but it's harder, or you could probably use a pair of tweezers that has pointy corners. you need to scrape an X into the shell until there is a small hole.

this is where I learned how:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/step-by-step-guide-to-assisted-hatching.64660/

if you use ctrl+f type in this: ONLY IN THE AIR CELL AREA!!!

it'll take you right to the instructions.

this is actually a great article to read all of at this point, you might need to assist chickie later. :) hope it all works out.
