Help!! Dead chicken feather on head missing.

Found one of my chickens dead today with no damage besides missing feathers on head. Any idea as to what could have happened?

So sorry for your loss of your chicken.

Do you have dogs? Most predators don't just kill and leave it but dogs will kill for sport. Weasels too but that looks more like what a dog did.
