Help Decide - Coop Design

We are down to some of the final stages of our first in the series of stationary coops that we are building. We have a design question that we are dithering about. I figured I'd come and ask y'all to help us finalize our decision.

Here is what the coop looks like, right now:

The front is shiplapped with weathered cedar. The options we are trying to decide between are for the awning that will go over the "boardwalk" in front.

There is the traditional with tin:

I'll have to think a bit more on the one for the first coop...

I vote traditional with tin. The first picture. I'm quiet impressed with the coop! Can't wait til the finished product

Looks like traditional awning made from tin wins out on the poll. So, that's what we'll do. I'm looking forward to the final touches being added.

We went with the consensus and did the tin over the boardwalk.
