I personally would just clean out the old bedding and put in fresh. Those birds will eventually be exposed to each other. This is a way to start that exposure at a lower "dose" for the younger chicks.

I use a spray bottle of water mixed with distilled white vinegar. Vinegar is the best coop disinfectant; you do not want to use any chemical disinfectants. When I moved my 2 week olds into the brooder of my 5 week olds who finally went outside, I soaked a rag in distilled white vinegar and just thoroughly wiped it out. After that, if you have a hot sunny day, you can leave it out in the sun for a few hours. UV is my favorite disinfectant but I live in the south so it’s easy.

Lol well we moved down here from NY so I do NOT miss the winter. But yea I wait for a cloudless, hot day to clean my brooders (while the chicks are playing outside in secure enclosure with shade) by wiping them down with vinegar and leaving them in the direct sun for hours to disinfect naturally. I do the same with my water and food bowls. Utilizing the free resources of the world 🌎

Sorry peeps but I disagree with the approach of trying to super disinfect the brooder for THREE week old chicks.
Let's look at an unsavory fact about our fluffy butted friends: chickens EAT POOP! They do NOT live in a clean room environment. Trying to disinfect a brooder that just sent out 10 week old healthy chicks is not good. Chicks need to build immunity. They can only do that if exposed to the flora and fauna in small doses. Sterility can actually be the enemy here.
Just my two cents.
