I have 7 silkie birds from 6-13 weeks and I first thought all of the blue and splash were def Roos and my partridges all hens- I'm now thinking one blue is a hen the rest ALL Roos!!?!! I have raised over 40 silkies and could tell fairly quickly what they were- BUT-these partridges are really confusing me as they r very good quality and fluffy! Any guesses!!???? The partridges also walk low to the ground, huddle together and never go outside of the coop unless I put them out!? They run from the larger chicken and do not exhibit ANY male traits - yet!? They let me hold them and they rarely stand tall??? It's very strange!! They will be 13 weeks old on Wednesday

Your pictures are pretty dark and your chicks still young, so it could be a while before you know for sure. In the first picture the one on the left has a larger comb so it would be on my watch list. Silkies can be frustrating.

It will take awhile before you will be able to properly sex a silkie. And yes, silkies can be difficult and frustrating. If they are males there combs will fill in and get a lot bigger! Very pretty though!

I can't tell much from your photos. Sorry.
All I can suggest is pull the pom poms back and look at the combs.

As you know, female Silkies, even as adults, have very little comb and wattles while the males will have large, even red comb/wattles.

Silkies are very frustrating.

No combs or wattles at all- all are same size and all walk very low to the ground and are shy but friendly I can tell that 3 of my blue/splash (6 and 8 weeks old) are definitely male as they r from my hens/Roos and for some reason I've been 100% on all of them over the past year... the partridges I bought from a breeder so...??

If you click on the pics you can see better ( larger sized!) and they are very clear and bright on my iPad..:)

I did that, either my kindle is worse than your IPAD, probably, or my old lady eyes are worse than yours, even more likely. o_O
