Hey guys!
New to incubating and hatching chicks. I did something incredibly stupid, I heard chirping from one of my eggs in the incubator but i couldn't see any pipping from the top. I turned it around to see if there was any pipping and sure enough, near the bottom of the egg there was. I turned the egg towards the ceiling thinking that way it'll get the air it needs as opposed to facing the ground.
It's been about 20 hours now and there has been minimal change in how much it's broken through. Does it matter which way the egg has been turned? Should I have kept it facing the ground, or to the ceiling?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but quite worried I messed up catastrophically
