My little 21/2 month chickens were out in the coop getting a little fresh air when my Pekingese attacked it. I brought her inside, she is limping a little and has a touch of blood under her wing, but I don't see any punctures just pulled feathers, she breathing heavy Nd her eyes are closed. I have in in a quite room inside by herself with food and water. Should I do anything else?

Thank you, I feel so horrible like I failed her, my daughter was in tears when she brought her in. I'm hoping most is just stress and once she calms down it will be a little better.

Chickens can be surprisingly resilient. I think keeping her quiet and warm is the best you can do; you may want to put a little electrolytes or sugar in her water for energy. Please keep us posted on her progress. Our thoughts are with you -
