My young orphaned duck was attacked by my dog thankfully I got to them on time before it was fatal. I do believe he has a broken wing possibly near his shoulder joint on the right side of his body. I have somewhat wrapped his whole body up with vet wrap to help him feel more stable but I need advice on how to do properly as well as what do I do? I have brought him inside and secluded him to a small room with a dog crate covered with a blanket to help keep him warm and comfortable and also to hopefully get him fully out of shock. He was really starting to scare me as he was not eating, drinking or making a sound at all as well as expressions for close to 5 hours. Once I got him inside & wrapped up and tucked in his infirmary he didn’t thankfully nibble a little an drink some water. What else can I do to help him heal the best? Thank you I will greatly appreciate any and all help and input!
