hey guys, I recently got hatching eggs from my friend. The hens that hatched these eggs are easter Eggers that hatched from blue eggs, but the eggs they are laying that I am hatching are brown. Is their ay chance their babies can still lay blue eggs?

Only if the sire was from a blue egg layer.

The fact that mommy had a blue egg gene to contribute means there is a possibility, but without knowing what the rooster had to offer it's anyone's guess what they will eventually lay. Was he an Easter Egger as well? The blue egg gene is dominant, but if daddy has a brown coating gene it's more likely they will lay some shade of green or blue-green.

Being the mothers laid brown eggs they don't have a blue egg gene. The father if an Easter Egger may still carry one copy, if an actual Ameraucana which if from hatchery stock that's not the case he'd have two copies. If he carries one copy then half the resultant hens will lay blue/green eggs. If he carries two copies (doubtful if hatchery bird) all the offspring will carry one copy resulting in all laying blue/green eggs.

he is a pure breed ameraucana, and the mama is an easter egger, but lays brown eggs

The mothers don't carry a blue egg gene as you said they lay brown eggs. They are no longer EE's, they are barnyard mix brown egg layers. A pure Ameraucana over barnyard mix will result in EE's. The offspring will all be EE's and all the females lay some shade of green/blue.

You have to keep in mind that Easter Eggers are not a breed. They are mixed breeds that carry a copy of blue egg gene.
