We got two Sussex Light chicks about 7 weeks ago so they're probably about 14 weeks old by now and haven't started to lay yet.
One of the chickens seems to be fine and it thriving with red comb and wattles, the other one lathargic with a drooping tail and regularly just stands around and closes her eyes. Today we also found that she had diahrrea as well. Also she's still very pink with hardly any crown or wattles, she still "cheeps" while the other one has been "clucking" for about a month now.
Yesterday we gave her worming powder which we got from a friend but it seems to have made little difference. The thing we don't understand is that outside of her pen she seems absolutely fine, lively and interested in her surroundings, inside the pen she just isn't herself. She is eating and drinking well inside and outside of the pen if a little uninterested in foods we try and give her to perk her up.
Is this something I should get some help on?
