I have 3 guinea hens that have a "wobbly" walk. You would think they had a few to many beers! Their feathers on their backs are slightly ruffled. This has been going on for two to three months. It started with one guinea and now all three have the problem. They roam about the yard during the day and sleep in a predator safe pen, at night. They pen was ground level, but I have raised it so it is now off the ground. As we are in Florida, our weather is warm. I have treated with sulfa, given vitamins, changed feed, treated with ivermectin, even tried penicillin but I can't figure out what the problem is. I am very worried because they are steadily growing weaker. The first guinea to become wobbly now has challenges staying on her feet, though she does manage to keep up with the others. All three still have a good appetite. Anyone have a clue? Thank you.

Hi, read the other thread in which you posted and just thought I should reply to original. Do your birds have access to other areas (feed/plants/etc.) than their run? If the two most obvious signs are `intoxication' (drunken walk) and weakness, I'd guess a mycotoxin:

Hope this bump will get a few more replies for you.

Good luck!
