Help - duck has a hard time breathing.

I have also posted this under emergencies. Help! Any ideas?

My duck has lumps on her bill. The lumps are between the nostrils and the top of the bill. She has a hard time breathing. The problem is only in her nose (bill)... if I force her mouth open she breathes easily. The lump on one side is larger (shown below) and is smaller on the other side.

The lumps are hard. There is no discharge of any kind.

Either a tumour or some type of fungus?...Hmmm?..A Vet would be a better judge ...

If you push on the lump does any liquid come out or does it get smaller?

The lumps are quite hard. I did put in a needle to see if I could get any pus but there wasn't any. I will take her to the vet today as she was breathing hard during the night.

Update on Cinnamon. The vet says the swelling contains infection. She did a biopsy and says that the hard lump contains white blood cells and bacteria (and tissues). (And no cancer cells - yay!). She prescribed SZM-TMP as an antibiotic to be taken by mouth and Ofloxacin ophthalmic solution to be dribbled one drop into each nostril, each twice a day. She says the prognosis is good.

Thanks for the update! Did the vet mention that the mass might have to be removed?

The vet said that the mass was composed of tissue - hence would not be removed. Had it been only hard pus, that would have been different.
