HELP DUCK SWALLOWED Q TIP

my duck swallowed a q tip and about 5 hrs later, he started to , what looked like, gag. i fed him mealworms and forgot water so maybe his throat was dry ? pls help idk what to do?

I know how scary it is when a duck starts to choke. My duck swallowed a hole grape to day. (She is fine now) but I would call a vet, do you mind posting a pic of the q tip that he swallowed? Definitely give him water.

A whole long Q tip ? How old is the duck ?
Make sure it has access to water at all times
Hopefully the duck will be okay

i think my duck chocked on a q tip but i’m not sure, it was fine after i found him playing with the q tips but about 10 minutes later the duck suddenly fell to its side and died.

he also was little and i’m not sure if chocking can cause a duck to just fall on its side and die but it was very traumatic to watch and he was making screaming sounds when he fell over and died.
