How is your son taking the death? I know it is important for him to learn from this accentual mistake. But he is still young, at 7 I would hate for him to feel guilty and carry that guilt with him. it is not like he tried to break the egg, he probably could hear it peeping and wanted to see it. Like someone else said, just make sure he can't do it again.

I am so sad to announce that baby passed away. She really gave it a fighting chance, but never got to the point where she was able to stand on her own. She passed quietly in her sleep, snuggled up and warm.

So so sorry.
