I’m a bit worried because my ducking had hatched out with this left on the shell. Does anyone know of this will effect its health at all or do you think he will be fine???!

Is it still attached to the duckling? If it is, see if you can sit the duck in the shell until it finishes absorbing the remainder of the yolk. I am not an expert, so I don't know the chances of the duckling making a go of it if that remained isn't absorbed. Hopefully some one will come along and be better able to answer your question.
Welcome from New Orleans, sorry we had to meet over a problem. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

What does the ducklings tummy look like? Is it all closed up or is it open or with cord still attached?
How is the duckling now, is he resting?
