She needs to be kept in a sterilized environment until the swelling recedes to prevent Omphalitis from occurring.

I have her sitting on a damp towel in the incubator, should that be alright? Is there any sort of cream I can use to help fight bacteria?

The damp towel may chill her, replace it with a dry one. If she is in a sterilized environment she should be fine.

Done, didnt realize that it might make her cold. Thanks for the info, I really do appreciate it.

Update: She has been in the incubator since 4 PM yesterday, I have only opened it to change the paper towel she was laying on as it got very dirty. The swelling her in naval has decreased by a lot though it remains fairly red. She hasnt got a lot of strength in her legs yet but is able to stand and walk for a short period of time over a short distance. I think this should improve as her naval continues to heal. I'm going to transfer her out of the incubator very soon. Thanks for all the help!
