Help duckling with broken foot/leg

So a I had my boyfriend aunt come over she is a nurse so she numbed his leg a little bit then we took it off the ducklings is doing great and is antibiotics he is getting around eat n drinking fine I just got the stuff to make him a little wheelchair until it heals and I can get him a prosthetic

Would you consider buying Penicillin for it? It works great for keeping infection out and you can find it at a local feed store like TSC.

So a update my son named the duckling waddles and he is up running around on his nub hes doing great he has a new ducky friend that has a hole in his back but doing good

If you aren't already, I would also start him on some probiotics. Antibiotics do a lot of good, but they can also destroy healthy bacteria and give your little guy crop issues and diarrhea.

Probiotics help a lot and you can get them at tractor supply or online. Glad to hear he's doing so well!

He is getting antibiotics twice a day vets orders and probiotics in his water and vitamins in water every other day I'm looking in to getting him a prostatic foot made
