It is currently very hot and sunny where I live (33°C) and I keep my ducklings outside. They have shade of course, and water, food and a small pool. I went outside today and noticed that most of their mouths were open, and they seemed to be breathing fast; so I decided to move them inside ASAP. They still seem a bit shaken up, and not their usual chirpy, happy selves. One of them is even still panting. What can I do to make them feel better?

How old are your ducklings? Mine are about six weeks old and it's 100F outside with 90%+ humidity. I've moved them to the garage at night until I can get a pen constructed, but during the day they're in improvised pens made with plastic garden fencing and tarp covers and they seem to be happy enough if they have access to cool earth/mud and a pool to swim in.
