HELP! Ducklings Unable to Stand Upright or Walk

UPDATE: My goodness, thank you all for your support and advice during the beginning stages of all of this! I have followed through will all previously stated suggestions and there is significant progress. The babies are still unable to walk without my assistance, but their necks are getting straighter, they seem to be getting stronger, and they have a whole lot of will power to get on their feet one day soon. This makes me feel like it's wry neck, how about you? I am not finding any additional symptoms that lead me to believe otherwise. They are eating and drinking a 10-15x a day and they seem to really enjoy each others company during snuggle hours. I have a lot of hope for these two, and will continue the suggested regimen in hopes to see them walk one day soon. If you have any additional suggestions, please let me know. I'm all ears and I will do anything necessary. I am a bit worried that they are significantly smaller and lighter than the healthy duck crew, but I guess that's expected when they aren't able to move around to gain muscle mass. I do NOT think they are living a poor quality of life at the moment, but I will be mindful about this as time proceeds. I love them dearly, and I sing to them 5+x a day, which they love. They often snuggle and start snoozing during lullaby time. Send Willie and Johnny all the good vibes! Thanks for all of your guidance and help along the way.

Awesome news! Your doing a great work there with them. I'd just keep up with what your doing. Are they able to hold themselves upright at all. Thinking maybe a warm bath with water just up to tops of their legs might make them happy and get those legs moving. Only if they can be in upright position though. Warm water therapy is so good for strengthening the leg muscles, Pics when you can.

Hi how are your ducks? I have a 2 day old in exactly the same condition as the video. This thread has been so helpful, I got thiamin at the store today and will get vitamin e too. Mine also cannot seem to open his eyes. Heartbreaking.

Hi Everyone! I apologize for the delayed reply on this. Life has been a bit crazy on the homestead. I cared for both babies every day, all day, but sadly they both passed. I was with them for each passing (one held on a few more days than the other), and it was peaceful and truly expected for both. They ate plenty and drank lots of fluids before their last breath. It broke my heart for days, but I guess these are things you must prepare for when establishing a homestead. Sending all my love and good vibes to your babies Lydiacytlau. I truly wish the best <3.
