Help! Ducks attacking chickens!

HELP! My two female ducks have gone broody (I have 10 hens as well) and the single drake and alternating duck is violently protecting the entire coop, including all 4 empty nest boxes!

My hens can’t lay so I’ve since put all three ducks in a separate area within the coop, but they can’t stay there indefinitely. I’m just hoping to break their brooding, as much as I NEED someone to go broody and hatch chicks! What do I DO?!

Create a seperate coop and run for the ducks. I dont thinknits ever a good idea to put them together anyways.

I would build a second coop. I know it’s not the easiest option, but that’s what I would do, and what is probably best for your chickens and ducks. Hoping you get this all sorted out!

I tried using 300 linear feet of moveable fencing to free range 1/2 a dozen chickens and 1/2 a dozen ducks together. It looked like I created a gang turf war between the Crips and the Bloods in my own backyard. The ducks wouldn't let the chickens near the water, no matter how many caterers I used. The hens horded all the food. I could be wrong but there's no way any species of chick will survive in a multi-flock of anything. They're lucky to survive among their own kind. You need a brood barn, or at least a brood bin.
