HELP early duckling hatch

How many Adults are one this nest?...I'm confused I think...Sounds like you gave Chicks and older Birds in your hatching area?..

The hen was sitting on eggs. other chickens and the ducks kept laying in her nest... I blocked then because she has 20 some.... on mothers day she hatched me out 5 chickens as I knew they would hatch 1st from candling rate and chickens hatch before ducks. The ducks are just not hatching only early. she still has 4 chicken eggs to hatch out should be any day time. there are a few duck eggs left to hatch but candling shows so not ready. the other chicks that are in with her are bantam ones because out electric was out for 2 days... the chicks were ok during the day with natural sunlight... but at night got chilly. i gave them to her to keep warm as we were suppose to be with out electric for a week. we had a micro burst go through do lots of damage. and it also unset her as she would not get off the nest IN the coop but was scared once in with me she chilled out she is a mama's chicken.
she has gotten off her eggs and come out of the cage to look at the ducklings but no peaking only observing. she tried to lay on them lol. BUT she was trying to also keep the chicks back from pecking at them as the were pecking at it. the 1st one hatching they did and she helped out but he was distress calling at times way to often. that is the one in the 1st post which has now passed. he kept shivering even though I have him under heat lamp.

I have seen older chicks in a nest while mom is still on eggs hatch them out and they are fine as long as they are not to far apart in age. either way I am set up to take older chicks till she hatches the rest. I dont want to give mama hen the ducklings with the yokes though. I dont know if she would leave them alone or not... she dose when she comes to take a look but still rather not. Unless you think that its ok to give them to her pull all the other chicks.

That's the problem too many staggered hatches and the older Chicks are eating the eggs from under that Hen..:th

Don't put back those Ducklings..Your in a real pickle I think. Your Call but I would let her raise the living and toss the rest..

why would I toss the rest? I know there all different times But I am not going to toss out eggs that have life in them that I can see when candling them an feel them moving in the egg. I think of my chickens as family an friends.

if the little baby chicks where pecking at them and eating them they would have eaten the rest left to hatch out. they were only pecking out them when they pipped. an they did zip but not correctly like they are suppose to.
The chicks that mom hatched out hatched out where on mothers day. the bantam chicks are a week older then them... i just can see them this young doing that. maybe a few weeks/month older yes.

I just wanted more info on the baby ducks hatching out early as in more info help then I already knew from people who have had them before and taken care of them... I have never done preemie ducks/chickens myself... mice, dogs, cats, rats, yes. Just wanted info on them more... like after yoke do they require more special food like a wet wash anything to watch out for.

As it is all 4 are still alive. 3 have yokes almost absorbed. they will drink some water and nibble at the non med food. the others yoke it almost absorbed.... they seem to drink more then eat but the 2 are pecking at everything.... like ducks do and seem to want to eat. I even made wet feed and they nibble but not a lot its more water they want. I am just trying to get info on how to best care for them so if they don't make it I can at least say yes I did and tried all that I could and knew and even looked up/asked for advice.

This is them today. I don't know how to share a vid on here or I would share a short vid. I know they will be wobbly and seem weakish but should in time build up.

UPDATE:
Out of all of them 2 lived. One has a niacin deficiency we are dealing with still and wrapping her feet at night. Plus some other things. We will be hanging her like a horse though as things with her seem to be getting horse with wrapped feet as she may be a handy capped duck from being a premi as I have had her to the vet and this is what we came up with. Meaning she hangs with legs wrapped but has food/water close for a few hrs a day. Almost the same method used on lambs at Edgers Mission. (just trying to find the best/proper way to hang her. BUT since then I have had 2 more duck hatch recently in the incubator all is well they hatched out on time. these are pictures of them along with a very protective Turkey we have I got him for protecting the flock along with the rosters and he is more protective then a mother hen with them 2 ducks lol. a baby when they where born about a month old. BUT even if it a baby hatched chick HE is protective of it even to us lol. He is sweet and gentle and will cuddle just DON'T make them cry or cheep to much lol. HE even lets the larger black duck who had wider hips (so he is a little handicapped too but not as bad) pick on him and dominate him lol. We called them Quackers (dark one as he/she never shuts up) and waddles (white one) the Turkey is Tucky.
At lest next time I know there is a 50/50 chance they can make it or not and am now more prepared for this when it happens again. Like I said have seen/heard others go through this BUT never had to do it my self. thanks for all the info though an help. The crippled ducks will live in their own pen though an I will use them for animal education on HOW to care for ducks/chickens with special needs and what you can do for them to help them. IF you have any more info to share on special needs ducks and chickens to help me out in their care and to pass along that would be great. THESE are not my 1st handicapped ducks/chickens. I had a Peking duck that had spinal damage but i worked with him an about 3 years of age started to go blind but we dealt with that too. The vet think he had some other problems that she could not detect though as he passed on in his sleep. He lived to almost 6. His name was Lean Too.
