Help! Early lockdown???

My duck eggs are on day 24 and I most definitely saw one rocking and trying to internally pip (last night). Lockdown is supposed to be tomorrow- should I go on lockdown early????

Lockdown is when you bump up the stop turning eggs and bump up the humidity for them to get into position to hatch. Usually happens on day 25 for ducks.

Ohh... hm. Because it’s summer the eggs may hatch early, because it’s warmer. Have you been checking the eggs with a flash light? Do they look healthy?

They may just be hatching early, but it’s your decision because I’ve never incubated eggs before.

I candled last night. 1 of the 5 (the one that is rocking & pecking) is much farther ahead than the others. I saw movement in the other 4 as of last night, but no drawback of the aircell.
