PLEASE HELP!! I went to go feed my ducks and give them water and I noticed one of them, Lamb, was actually strange. She wasn't quacking and was laying down. I picked her up which she usually flips out sometimes and she likes to hump my arm or leg and she wasn't doing it which she usually does when I picked her up. I got nervous she was egg bound so I went to check her vent and there is yolk on her!! I have no clue if this means the egg cracked inside of her but I have no way of getting to a vet and I don't know what to do. She's only 10 months old and it's her first time laying eggs!! I think Tokki, my male, has been breeding her too much due to the feathers ripped out of her head compared to my other girls. Please!! What do I do!!

The egg definitely broke inside of her. I watched her poop and I checked her vent and more yolk came out. Please what do I do!! I brought her over to the water bowl and she's drinking water but she just keeps falling to the ground and laying down.

Can you give her a human calcium with vitamin D tablet or a Tums broken in tow pieces orally? That can help her pass any other eggs or the remnants of the broken egg. Clean the egg material off her vent area, but don’t stress her too much by giving a soak or bath right now. I know more about chickens so hopefully others with duck knowledge will chime in. Separate the male from her if you can.

I looked up to put her in a warm bath to try and help her relax and pass anything through so she's sitting in shallow warm water right now. I can definitely take her out if needed. Tokki will be put in our other enclosure to ensure he doesn't try breeding her. I'm unsure where any vitamin D tablets are, my dad will be home in a couple hours and he has all that stuff so I'd have to wait until then. I'm gonna clean her vent and try to get any egg pieces off if I see any, for now all I see is yolk.

Shes inside the bathroom right now on a towel. She's walking a bit and shes biting onto my hand (like I said she likes to hump so that's what shes trying to do currently) I don't know if shes feeling slightly better but I hope so. I checked her vent, no egg shells.

Pictures may help. The calcium is what she needs mist. Many human calcium tablets come with vitamin E added. Tums is calcium without the D. Most stores sell bith of those. Walmart has a good price on human calcium citrate with d:

Does a family member take calcium or use Tums?
Be careful soaking her if she is weak. Sometimes that can push a weak one over the edge. In that case place her on a warm towel. But if she seems strong, that may help.

My dad takes a lot of medication so we might have some. If not, I'll text him to pick that up. Currently she's walking around so I think she may have some strength to her.

Like I said, she's walking around. She keeps just standing still but she's not falling to the ground anymore. Should I let her sit in the water some more or just sit with her for now?
