Help, egg cracked

My daughter grabbed a 19 day old egg, and heard me coming and dropped the egg, now its cracked all around. Will thebaby chick survive?

anyone can help us. The eggs are suppose to hatch tomorrow

Well, the blood on the outside of the egg is not a great sign. But hope is not all lost.

You can try a band aid on the egg. Some people have used wax. Some have used nail polish. You want to be very careful not to exclude air flow, though. And you want to be sure that the shell has enough resistance for the chick to resist and strengthen it's legs and draw the yolk sac in.
