Why? Its not ready to hatch. The yolk is still out. Will it not hurt her /damage her?

Wow,You can see the yolk! I thought you could only see the head and neck!

That chick is not ready to hatch! I would put a damp but not wet paper towel over egg and membrane but not head.

Watch for the yolk to get absorbed and at some point you will have to unstick that chick where its dried out.Where the membrane is stuck and dry there is no blood flow. If at anytime you see blood of any amount stop and give it time.

Is it supposed to have its eyes closed?
It also doesnt breathe...he does open and close his mouth and his little toungue sticks out. What is he trying to do?

Well one of two things.When a chick hatches naturaly It can take 24 hours or more from the first pip! He rests alot sleeps playes cards what ever he does but hatching! I am afraid that he may have lost to much blood and could die! Sorry I wish I could be of more help!
