Help! Empty eggs!

I am new to this, but have had 4 hatches of guinea eggs and hardly any "empty" eggs. I am now on my last hatch of eggs. Am soooo disappointed. I ordered 3 dozen eggs from Stromberg's and candled them this evening because lockdown is this Friday (July3). There were 16 that were completely clear - empty!! Does that mean they were never fertile eggs? I am so disappointed! Does anyone know what else could have caused this? I'm still in shock!!

I guess that's the chance you take when they come so far.

They didn't have a single crack or broken shells. That was amazing in itself. So disappointed. But their shells are thick. They still could have been handled roughly somewhere along the line.
