*Help ERRGENT Shed disassembling*-Nevermind

How far from there to your house? I'd try to find someone with a trailer I could borrow. Would be much easier to move it in one piece than take it apart and then try to put it back together. If you do take it apart, take pictures every step of the way and label the pieces with marker so that you can put it back exactly the same way it was. Good luck.

I would think this through first.

- cost of the shed
- cost for trailer rental
- cost of a dumpster to dispose of the roof, its too hard to dismantle easily and too heavy to try and save.
- cost of materials to reassemble
- cost of new roof
- cost of beer/food for the 6+ volunteers you will need.
- your time.
- assuming you already own chainsaw, sawsall, come alongs crow bars etc.

Once you add it all up, it may be better to buy a kit from one of the build-it stores and have it delivered.

Good luck,

David

A roll-back. It's the only way I would consider moving something like that. I'd tie a few cross-braces inside using 2 x 4's to make it more rigid for transporting. Call a local tow truck company and ask if they use a roll-back and how much per mile, tell them up front you have a shed you want them to pull up on the truck and haul for you.

It depends how this thing is constructed. Could be doable, could be not worthwhile. Personally I would not put down any money or commit to any transaction without SEEING it in person, not just to see how moveable it will be (which also depends on things like location on property) but also to see what kind of shape the key structural parts are in.

(e.t.a. - parents are probably right on this one

Good luck, something will turn up for you,
