I find this line fun.

We do not kill predators here only killed two coons in five years but it was not us it was the trapper we hired to help us cause we had a serious problem

So lets get this straight, you didn't build your coop strong enough so it was ok for you to hire (a PAID KILLER) to do your dirty work for you but you didn't do it so you do not kill predators

You got guts I will say that for ya. But I got you, the OP should build her coop stronger and not kill the predator but it is ok that you hired someone to kill for you when you had a problem.

And Tiff agreed with ya. LOL

Thanks so much for the laugh of the day. I really needed it. Reminded me of the City folk that come here and said don't kill the wild life we are invading their terratory. They leave their garbage out and then when the bears come up on their porch they sure change their tune LOL it is Kill it please kill it help me LOL

Old saying: what is good for the goose is good for the gander, meaning if it was ok for you to take action and remove a predator with death whether at your hands or someone you hired then why isn't it the OP right to do the same thing.

Make up your mind here.

Thanks again for the laugh

Now that everyone is looking to see why this was closed and I have your attention.....

This forum is about getting rid of predators.

It is not a forum where we judge others and slam them for doing what needs done.

People may be relieved and glad that a predator is eliminated, but I doubt that anyone here enjoys killing for the sale of killing.

If you have a helpful alternative please do offer it.

Posting things like, "
Oh they were here first" and "How Cruel" and "How Could You" just doesn't cut it.

If you have an alternative solution, please do share it, but you need to back it up with fact and and workable data as to it's effectiveness.

The last report asked that this area be moderated more closely. It is.

We simply do not allow activistic posts condemning those with a predator problem. We do not allow people who suggest and discuss ways and means or predator removal to be chastised by those who do not agree.

We stress that it is up to the person seeking a solution to make sure of the legalities of suggestions and we discourage illegal means of depredation.

Here are the rules to this forum. It is strict in what we do and do not allow.

My suggestion is that if you cannot bear to read about predator elimination, simply do not browse the Predator and Pests section.
