My little ones are on the Medicated Chick Starter. They are 6 & 7 weeks now.
I have 2 Adult chickens that I got yesterday that are in our new coop, along with 8 week old Ducks, which are on high-protein Game-Bird feed (per my local feed store).

I waned to know.
#1- When should I take (could I take) the chicks off the Medicated feed. (they are already in the coop, but separated from the others right now)

#2 - Is there a food that I can safely feed to ALL the fowl? The Chickens and the Ducks together.

#3 - WHAT is the best diet for them all? Could someone please give me specific brand and feed names?

At 6 weeks, your chicks can go on grower feed.

Flock Raiser (Purina) is a 20% protein grower that can be fed to a mixed flock of poultry. Provide free-choice oyster shells so your layers aren't deprived of calcium for their eggshells.

Isolating your new birds for a few weeks is safest for everybirdie concerned.
