Could i mix these two as in I’m about to give my whole flock tiaguard for safety procedures and for the ones I had quarantined before getting can I inject them with the uvl and also give them the tiaguard for then drinking source?

I’m treating a possible respiratory infection from a hen u got from someone who I thought was a trusted seller and he gave me to her sneezing I didn’t notice till I got home and she also had a little bit of a runny nose my rooster also had a bit of a runny nose smacked some vet rx and he seems to be doing good no runny nose and just wanna be same and make sure my flock isn’t going to get sick as well I’m located in Kansas City Missouri

one I bought at a swap got most likely has mg I think that’s what it’s called I had her quarantined and tried being cautious every time and her being the last to be handled with meds at the end of the day idk how she and the other is 8 months who I thought was perfect when I got her

No. You don't mix medications.

If you are going to treat the Sick Bird then choose one. Finish the course of treatment to see if it helps.

I think you have a couple of other active threads and suspect Mycoplasma. If I were going to try to treat the Sick Bird I would use the Tiagard (Tiamulin) to see if it helps. Tiamulin will treat Symptoms of Mycoplasma in poultry.

I would not treat any other birds that do not have symptoms at this time. Getting testing as suggested is a good idea, this way you know what you are dealing with.

I do understand that some DO treat their whole flock with Tiamulin (Tiagard/Denagard) on a monthly maintenance basis, but usually they have had confirmation (testing/necropsy) that they have an MG+ flock and the medication is used only for a couple of days a month to help control symptoms so they do not have an outbreak. These folks also keep a closed flock.

I'm very sorry that you're dealing with sick birds, it's unfortunate that you ended up with something in your flock. I also understand it's distressing, but it would be wise to slow down, take a deep breath and think things through. Do some research, reading and get some testing done.

The UVL Biotech, the ingredients are hard to find, but there's an older thread below listing them. It's not something I'd mix with anything else.
