HELP! First time chicken owner with bad pecking problems and now in tears

Thanks to everyone who responded. UPDATE: Doodle was re-homed to a friend who lives in our town - and is now a first-time chicken owner.
Doodle went to a home of a very loving single mom with 3 children. The 6 year old girl is head-over-heels in love with Doodle and is treating her like a princess. Doodle has her very own custom-made coop (which is large enough for 6 hens!). We just hatched a new chickie 4 weeks ago in our coop, Twinkle Toes. When Twinkle Toes is around 3 months old, she'll be introduced to Doodle so Doodle will have a coop-mate. Doodle is thriving, has all her wounds well healed over and all her feathers back and loves her little girlfriend who goes into the coop each night and reads her a bed time story! : )

I forgot to add that we had identified who the bully culprit was...caught her in the act of pecking another chicken. We isolated her for a week, then reintroduced her. Things went very well again in the flock... for one day. After just one day, little bully chica was up to her fowl tricks. So.... she was rehomed to local friends who have a farm and 40 other chickens. The bully chicken was instantly put in her place, dropping to the bottom of the 40+ chicken order. Within a week they were all accepting of each other. Incidentally, our "bully" has become the favorite chicken in her new large flock. Since we raised them by hand since birth, they responded well to humans, coming when called, etc. Her new owners just love her, and she loves her daily treat of goat's milk each morning!
