** HELP** First time hatching no expierance!!!

FOR ALL THOSE WAITING ----- HE HAS HATCHED!!!----

well i dunno what sex it is but for now he is a he lmao.. Im calling him Mr. ruffles he is really weird looking its hard to tell what he looks like he just hatched 20 mins ago.

Visual Appearance-
- Brown with gold or blonde feathers looks pretty cool
- way bigger than the egg it came out off which is weird but i wouldn't know lol
- very squeaky hasn't stopped for 5 mins
- on concern is he has tender spots on his back and head is this healthy??

I think tender spots would be the muscles they use for hatching... Usually quite common. When he fluffs up, they should be less evident.

From the egg shape, I am guessing it's a chukar... May be wrong, though. Your description could be either a quail or chukar chick, but quail eggs are often spotted.
