I've just been given 5 Bantams. They're gorgeous little things, but their eyelids and just about the whole face is covered with fleas. How do I get rid of it, without having to pick them off one by one!! Can I apply something that won't harm the chicken?

I am no expert, but I know you can use pet flea and tick shampoo on chickens. I would pick a nice warm day and bathe them.

Do that + get some ivermectin pour on for cattle, for a bantam 1/4cc applied to the skin (back or under the wing are two easy spots), don't apply on the feathers they'll soak it all up. That should get rid of them pretty well. The bath will help right away, the dewormer will kill any that made it past the bath.
