Help, Flock for sale, very, very cheap

Have been selling eggs for 13 years.Lost main purchaser, and have eggs piling up. Have 140 or so birds. the feed costs will bury me. I'm getting about 5 dozen eggs a day. I do not want to cull these birds, great layers, but feed costs will force the issue. Front range colorado, Contact me!! 100 or so birds 2+ years 4-5 dozen a day
40 or so birds 3+ years 1 dozen a day

I don't have an answer for you,,, But do have suggestions.
Can you try to find another source needing eggs?? I'm sure you did look into that already. But try again.
Second thing of interest. I am not totally sure,, but there may be restrictions on selling chickens across state lines. That means you need to target chicken buyers in Colorado. Check with the Department of Agriculture to confirm one way or the other.
I know this egg business was not making you wealthy,, but it did cover your feed costs.

You can look up your specific city on reddit. Most towns have a subreddit. And post an add for bulk eggs or simply list the chickens.

I find Facebook groups largely a waste of time but have had good luck on Craigslist even though there's a lot less people.
