I have 6 baby turkeys, one of them is smallest and does not seem to be growing as fast as the others.
I am worried that she is not thriving. I am feeding 24% medicated gamebird starter. Please advise. Is there anything else I can do for this little one?

I have 4 baby turkey's that just hatched a few days ago and also had a cpl weak ones that were very tiny when born. I found that using baby rice cereal is a very helpful thing to use to get the ones that aren't doing so great to gain strength. All of them are doing fantastic now and even the one that couldn't walk/stand or even hold his head well for 3 days, is bouncing around like there never has been an issue. 2 of these hatched 2 days after the first 2 so right now there is a small size difference but on first glance, you really can't tell. So I think the rice cereal really made them thrive.
I've read in other threads that boiled egg yolk (crumbled) is also a great addition to get them to do well. Hope this helps! We're in VA, whereabouts are you if you dont mind my asking? I'm looking to get a few more royal palms. I think they are a great Turkey Breed.

We had two weak poults, now just past 1 week old, they probably would have died, but my wife
and I hand feed them using an oral syringe, 4 times daily a mixture of cooked egg yolk, warm water, vitamins, and crumbles...puried it all together. They are now finally eating & drinking on their own.
I am sure more experienced turkey people probably wouldn't do this but we didn't want to loss them.
