Its so nice to know I'm not alone!

I've become the crazy chicken lady now - I've only got 29, that's not bad!

Sad part is we were on a field trip and another mom mentioned she was thinking about getting chickens - I said take some of mine, but now I'm thinking maybe we should just go in on another order. I do need some australorps.....

my hubby says i fuss over the chicks more than our kids. i told him that its becuase the chicks cant complain if i baby them, lol.

I have 38 and I've got to get rid of some. Two are going to freezer camp next week... that will be easy (I hope). Of my 12 chicks, I have no idea how many roos I have. I've got to rehome or eat at least another 11 at some point in time.

No one is alone.....I went from just 30 something chicks to over 70 chicks this week.

My dad hatched out a bunch and asked if I wanted them...DUH!!!! I want every chickie I can get my hands on.

Then my dogs killed them a few yesterday *a whole other thread* But on top of the chicks I have abotu 13 adult birds as well. I have 6 chicks that hatched out the other day and a bator full now! LOL All the while I am making arrangments/trades with members on here for more eggs to hatch. PLUS I want to go to our local chicken sale next weekend! LOL

My husband said that I better start digging worms 'cause my feed store bill was slightly HIGH LOL Whatever......

You can never have too many chickens!!!!

Right now we have 47 chicks in the back bedroom! All under 1 week old (some hatched today) And my DH loves them as much as me! (He could possible be more addicted than me) He is always candling a egg & asking if I checked on them! It is funny! Glad he is so envolved though!

Maybe we can get A&E to step in and do a special intervention for all of us!!! Ha, HA, ha!
