It's size, drakelets out size ducklets rather rapidly. Here a shot of my most recent clutch at 7wks.. in the pool, you'll see two, one on the right is the duck, left her brother( a drake) in behind the other two drakes lol

No one could help me??
It's not that no one can help it is hard to judge by a pic and then not having another duck to compare to makes it even harder,. I have had Muscovy's for 9 yrs and I still have trouble confirming others who show pics with out another Muscovy of same age right next to it. Usually by 6 weeks your duckling should begin to show the signs more, thick legs of drakes compared to thiner of ducks Drakes stance is wider than ducks and their body from head to end of tail is longer than ducks, so maybe in a few weeks it will be more noticeable right now all I see is a cute duckling. Do you not want a drake if it turns out to be one?

I agree. It is very hard to tell the difference without a comparison.

How large are the tiles that are in the month old pics? That may help, possibly.

As stated, you will be able to tell soon but pics are SO hard.

Cute little one though. Is that a little black spot on it's head? I wonder how big that will get. I'd love to have some white scovy.

I would almost tend to say duck because of its feet, but I might be fooled by perspective and as stated before, without proper comparison identification gets tricky.

The best pictures for identication would be from a flat angle showing the complete duckling in profile and the best pose would be a standing position.

Hi, thanks to everyone, now a knew the duckling was to young for sexing it, so now i wanna show you some photos from yesterday , he is nearly 3 months old.

Very pretty ducks, if your still wondering what sex, give it another month and you should be able to tell by the drake feather if it gets one or not. But also by now the quack will give it away, Oops sorry it's a Muscovy so not much of a quack, but drakes hiss ducks trill
