I need help from someone in the San Francisco Bay area/ Santa Cruz. I am looking for someone with a fully predator proof set up to watch my 2 remainin pet hens while I rebuild them a new coop. I adore my hens, recently a very determined racoon pried a board off my chicken coop and gnawed through the wire then killed 3 of my 5 hens. Somehow two survived. The best two, they have awesome personalities! A 1 yr old Plymouth Barred Rock ("Nora") and a 3yr old Golden Laced Wyandotte ("Xena"). I have nowhere safe to keep them right now, can you help me? I am attached to them so Im just lookin for someone to watch them from now until early August. This will give me enough time to gather the money and materials to rebuild them a completley safe free range setup. I need somewhere safe for them ASAP. You'd be paid in delicious brown eggs and I can send them off with enough organic gmo free food to last their stay.
